FAQ
  • What is a Rotary Airlock?

A rotary airlock (also known as a rotary feeder or rotary valve) consists of a housing, a rotor and shaft assembly, two end plates, seals, bearings, a motor, and a drive assembly. When assembled, the rotary airlock functions like a rotating paddle wheel inside the housing, transferring dry bulk solids from the top (inlet) to the bottom (discharge) during rotation.

Literally serving as an air lock between its inlet and outlet ports, the airlock prevents airflow through its vanes and pockets while continuously moving material in a rotating motion.

Airlocks play a vital role in material conveying and processing systems. An improperly selected or applied airlock can result in poor efficiency, increased maintenance, higher labor costs, product degradation, equipment wear, frequent replacements, and production losses due to unplanned shutdowns. The annual cost associated with any of these issues can easily surpass the initial cost of the equipment.

  • How to Calculate Correct Valve Size?

    Capacity (t/h) = [Volume (L) × Speed (rpm) × 60 × Density (t/m³) × Fill Factor (%)] / 1000.

To get a quick and accurate quote, simply provide your material and application details.

  • How can I get a precise quote or solution recommendation?

To ensure we provide the most accurate quote and optimal valve recommendation, please share details about the material you're handling and your operating conditions. The more information you provide, the better we can tailor our solution to your needs.

  • What is the delivery lead time?

The standard production time is approximately 40 days, followed by a 40-day shipping period.

(Note: Lead time may vary depending on product specifcations and destination.)

  • What does your warranty and after-sales support include?

We provide a 1-year warranty from the shipment date for defects under normal use, with comprehensive technical support covering installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
